6 Quick Apply Full-time Full Job Description The Field Service Technician is an important support role for Con-Vey and reports to the Field Service Director.
A successful candidate will provide top notch in-person service and support to our customers at their facilities across the United States, Canada, and abroad.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide startup assistance on new machinery Assist and/or oversee the installation contractor during equipment installation Make any necessary field modifications to equipment Install upgrade kits for existing equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fluid power problems Execute warranty work Create and maintain daily field service reports SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrate a history of dependability, integrity, and flexibility Strong hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting background Knowledge of electrical systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) SMAW and GMAW welding skills Read engineering drawings and schematics Be willing to travel and work any overtime required; approx.
50% travel (every effort will be made to try and limit any trip to 2 weeks max, although more may be required at times depending on the state of the project) Interact with customers in a professional manner at all times Be able to work independently as well as in a team Have computer skills with Microsoft Office products; be capable of composing Field Service Reports Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license preferred Unrestricted US Passport will be required Have own tools BENEFITS $2 per hour for work performed in the field Outstanding compensation package; pay DOE 401k with company match Generous health, dental, and life insurance Paid vacation and holidays Job Type:
