Linus Oakes has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Office ManagerThe Business Office Manager is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the campus Executive Director or AdministratorThis support may include secretarial, bookkeeping, receptionist, accounting, cashier, payroll, and data inputNestled on an oak-covered hillside, Linus Oakes Village offers a lovely city view and is close to shopping, entertainment, and medical careResidents enjoy the variety of amenities and carefree lifestyle of this independent living communityJob
Responsibilities:
Assists with the collection of outstanding private pay receivable balancesVerifies completion of admissions forms, contracts, and discharge of residentsAssists with addressing resident billing questionsPrepares/delivers bank depositsFollows up on Medicaid applications/benefits for residentsMaintains accounts payable ledger and ensures all accounts payable are entered into the system in a timely matter to meet all close timelinesMaintains and tracks ancillary charges and submits to corporate timely to meet all close timelinesComplies and prepares data/reports as required by corporate staff related to business office functionsMaintains the resident trust accountsUnderstands and demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of residents in interactionsDemonstrates honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and campus propertySatisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agenciesAttends all mandatory in-service programsAdheres to facility policies and proceduresCompletes yearly online education program by deadlineAttends employee meetings on a regular basisExceptional Compensation and Benefits Package:
