Concentric is currently looking for a skilled Medical Technologist for a Travel Assignment in Roseberg, Oregon!
The day-to-day duties of a medical technologist include complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results. Some tasks include:
Preparing cultures of tissue samples
Establishing and monitoring programs that ensure data accuracy
Microscopically examining slides of bodily fluids
Cross-matching blood for transfusions
Chemically analyzing blood or urine for toxic components
Analyzing lab reports for accuracy
Operating and calibrating equipment
Delivering test results to physicians, researchers or patients
Collecting and studying blood samples to determine morphology

REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years recent MT experience
National certification as MT REQUIRED: AMT, CLS or ASCP
Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Allied Health Technologies, or other applicable course area

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
13 weeks assignment; looking to start ASAP
Work in Chemistry, Hematology, UA, Coagulation
Day or evening shifts: day shifts start as early as 0430; if working evenings, then may go as late as 2300. Quick turn-arounds will NOT be required (do an evening shift then work a day shift the following day)
May be asked to work an additional shift, occasionallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
