PHYSICAL THERAPIST

VA Roseburg Healthcare System is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of diagnoses such as post op orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic and acute pain, head injury, stroke, rheumatic diseases, spinal cord injury, amputations, and dementia.
Candidate selected will be responsible for providing care to residents in long term care, dementia care, Hospice, skilled nursing, and short term rehabilitation.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Independently provides comprehensive assessments of patient using clinically appropriate tests and measuresDevelops, implements, and modifies appropriate treatment plans, goals, and time frames based on assessment resultsPerforms a full range of physical therapy treatment procedures modifying treatment according to patient responses to interventions and pre-existing medical conditionsParticipates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team presenting patient information regarding functional levels, treatment needs, progress, and continuing goals to primary care providers and other team members.
Assess need for, measures, fits, and instructions patients and care givers in the use of issued adaptive equipment and assistive devicesAssesses need for manual and power wheelchairs and seating, determining appropriate specifications, and providing in the use of the equipment to patients and caregiversEffectively communicates, both orally and writing, with patients, family members, co-workers, and other health care providersParticipates in home environmental assessment to assist with discharge planningCompletes all required documentation and workload data entry in a timely manner meeting Service, Medical Center, and Joint Commission guidelinesMaintains adequate PT clinic inventory, clinic equipment, and assures adherence to equipment cleaning protocols and temperature checksParticipates in competency programs, and quality assurance and performance improvement activities Provides on going coordination and completion of assigned reports, quality measures, satisfaction surveys, statistical and cost analysis, and status of program objectives.
Work Schedule:
Position is full-time 40 hours per week and requires working rotating shifts to include weekends.
Compressed work schedule is not authorized for this position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
