Performs advanced level clerical and administrative duties.
Supports the Sales Department by assisting in workloads, and performing special projects.
Requires relieving sales assistants.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and handle adverse situations or conflict from outside or within the company and have excellent attendance record.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision with attention to detail and accuracy.
The sales assistant duties include:
general support (phone, copier, word processing, filing documents, etc.
); prepare and enter orders, including communications with customers, sales people, traffic and shipping; assists with backlogged orders; handle orders and/or situations with customers, shipping departments, and sales on a daily basis.
Requires accuracy and timely answers to their questions.
The Qualifications are:
must like to work with coworkers and customers, have excellent keyboard skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic knowledge of Windows programs.
Ability to work accurately and expediently is extremely important.
Strong oral and written communication skills are critical.
